About the Role 

The People Development Specialist (Sales, Marketing, & Export) will be responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing people development strategies that enhance the capabilities and performance of commercial teams specifically within Sales, Marketing, and Export Team. This role plays a critical part in building a learning culture, strengthening leadership pipelines, and ensuring that talent strategies directly support business growth. The ideal candidate possesses strong business acumen, deep expertise in learning and talent development, and a proven record of enabling commercial excellence through people capability initiatives. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Design and implement comprehensive people development frameworks focused on Sales, Marketing, and Export functions. 
  • Lead training needs analyses (TNA) and collaborate with business leaders to align development programs with strategic objectives. 
  • Develop and manage competency models and learning roadmaps to drive skill enhancement and career progression within commercial teams. 
  • Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning programs—including functional training, leadership development, and capability building. 
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Export Heads to identify critical capability gaps and implement targeted learning interventions. 
  • Drive continuous improvement in people performance through coaching programs, learning technologies, and feedback mechanisms. 
  • Monitor learning effectiveness using clear metrics and analytics to measure ROI and behavioral impact. 
  • Manage and develop a high-performing learning & development team to ensure consistent delivery and alignment with organizational goals. 
  • Stay updated with market trends, digital learning innovations, and best practices to maintain competitive and relevant development programs. 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resource Management, Business, or related fields. A Master’s degree is a plus. 
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in learning & development, talent management, or people development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. 
  • Strong experience in developing and executing learning strategies within Sales, Marketing, and Export or other commercial environments. 
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable learning programs that drive performance improvement. 
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Experience using learning management systems (LMS), e-learning tools, and capability assessment platforms. 
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze training effectiveness and translate insights into actionable plans. 
  • Professional fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken. 
  • Strong project management and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives
